Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is an Internet marketing strategy that works to attract more visitors to a Web site by appealing to the functions of search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Bing, and Ask. At Aptera, we base many of our SEO techniques on the most popular of these: Google. It's important to know that although SEO can be tedious and costly, it is also a powerful process, capable of increasing site traffic and multiplying Internet revenues.

Just like everything, there IS a right and wrong way to do SEO. The popular terms for both methods are White Hat and Black Hat. White Hat SEO is an ethical method of optimizing a site by sticking to the guidelines set forth by search engines. Black Hat is an unethical method that relies on cloaked content and hidden keywords to help boost a site's ranking. Black Hat will no doubt bring results - but they are short lived and can lead to bans by the search engines. The last thing you want is to not show up in Google at all!

Aptera's Web design team can work with you to ensure that your site is optimized to its full potential, while following the guidelines. Not only will we research and implement your keywords, we'll also train you to view and interpret reports of your rankings and traffic through various Google tools, allowing you to track the progress and success of your site after SEO implementation.
