A new extension in Google's Chrome Web Store allows you to see details about the Sitefinity websites that you encounter. Sitefinity CMS Detail Viewer is short and sweet; displaying a Sitefinity logo in the address bar when you browse to a site powered by Telerik's Sitefinity CMS.

Clicking on the icon will display information about the specific version, edition and licensing status of the Sitefinity install the site is using. There's also a notice that will display if modifications to the "Powered by Sitefinity" logo, the one that's required on the community edition, may have been tampered with.

This extension saves developers from having to look through source code and manually track down the details on the Sitefinity version being used; useful for troubleshooting.
